QUALIFICATION FOR ENTRIES
  • Animarte is open to animated and mixed media shorts with a duration of up to 15 minutes. All animation techniques are accepted.
  • To be considered all films must be in English or Spanish or have English or Spanish subtitles. Films with no dialogue are also welcome. Credits do not need to be translated.
  • We prefer QuickTime files but can also accept AVI and/or MPEG files. The minimum resolution we can accept is 720 pixels wide. Films with a horizontal resolution of less than 720 pixels will not be considered. We cannot accept tapes of any kind.
  • Along with your film also submit:
    • Three of more digital stills of the film at the highest possible quality (300 dpi). These images will be used both as an identifying image for your submission during the selection process and in publications, printed materials and/or other media purposes.
    • Optional Materials:
      • A Brief synopsis of the film.
      • Director's biography, Director's photo (300dpi)
      • Any other materials you deem relevant such as storyboards, animatics, behind the scenes pictures, work in progress stills, etc.

HOW TO SUBMIT
There are three different options to submit your film:
  • Online upload: click on "online upload" below and accept the applet. Once the applet window opens drag and drop your film and additional materials inside that window
  • Download link: if your film can be downloaded online click on “download link” below and fill out the necessary fields. Additional materials can be submitted by clicking on "online upload" (you will have to accept the applet) or sent through email to info@animartefest.com
  • Regular mail: click on "regular mail" below (our address will be displayed) and remember to clearly mark your package with the following: FOR TEMPORARY CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY - WITHOUT COMMERCIAL VALUE. Animarte cannot accept customs charges.

ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
I hereby certify that I hold all necessary rights for the submission of this material and that I have read and agree to the Animarte Rules and Regulations By submission of a film, I grant Animarte the right, but not the obligation, to exhibit the film at the festival. I further understand that all rights I hold to the film remain completely unaffected.
