Some Guidelines:
• There is no entry or registration fee.
• Open to animated and mixed media shorts with a duration of 15 minutes or less.
• All animation techniques are accepted.
• Films with dialogue must be in English or Spanish or have English or Spanish subtitles.

HOW TO ENTER
To be considered please submit the Official Entry Form, Copy of the Film and Three or More Stills of the film. Please note that no film can be considered without an Official Entry Form.
1- Official Entry form. Print, fill out, sign and submit an official entry form through regular mail to Animarte’s official address (below). You can also fax it to +1 (510) 601 1654 or scan it and email it to info@animartefest.com
2 - Copy of the film: It can be submitted by regular mail or FTP:
Regular Mail: send us a digital copy of the film to the address below. We prefer QuickTime files but can also accept AVI and/or MPEG files. Please submit your film in the highest resolution you have available, as it is in your best interest that your film can be screened at high quality. The minimum resolution we can accept is 720 pixels wide. Films with a horizontal resolution of less than 720 pixels will not be considered. We cannot accept tapes of any kind. For international submissions, clearly mark your package with the following: FOR TEMPORARY CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY - WITHOUT COMMERCIAL VALUE. Animarte cannot accept customs charges.
FTP: You can also upload your film to our server. Please drop us an email after uploading to our FTP so we can download the film and erase it from the server.

After uploading your film remember to submit an Official Entry Form. Otherwise you film can not be considered.

3 - Three of more digital stills of the film at the highest possible quality (300 dpi). These images will be used both as an identifying image for your submission during the selection process and in publications, printed materials and/or other media purposes.
Optional Materials:
- A Brief synopsis of the film.
- Director's biography,
- Director's photo (300dpi)
- Any other materials you deem relevant such as storyboards, animatics, behind the scenes pictures, work in progress stills, etc.
Optional Materials can be mailed to the address below, uploaded to our FTP along with your film or through email to info@animartefest.com. Please enter the name of your film on the Subject field of the email.
