PREVIOUS EDITIONS
This year we brought the show to three cities in South America where audiences of all ages enjoyed some the best animated shorts from around the world. On the heels of our success, we remain committed to growing the festival in order to realize our dream of bringing the best animation to every country in South America.
This edition was another great success. Once again we held the event outdoors and used the natural amphitheatre at Mendoza’s Parque Central.
This time the turn out was close to 2000 people!
We learned from our first experience and chose to look for a larger venue for ANIMARTE’s second edition. This time we decided to hold the event outdoors. The City of Mendoza, Argentina allowed us to make use of a natural amphitheatre located in one of the main parks of the city. This time the turn out was close to 1500 people!
Animarte’s first edition took place in a small movie theatre in the city of Mendoza, Argentina. We put together a one and half hour-long program and since it was our first edition ever we did not know what the response would be.
To our surprise we got a full house and even had to leave a large number of people out of the auditorium.
